Hi @Emma our students come for in-person classes at our Manhattanville campus, and often spend time in the study spaces before and after class. They also often stay for various activities on campus, such as guest speaker events, conferences, student organization meetings, and more. Then, they have the entire city to explore!

I am currently on the 4th year of a PhD program in neurobiology, and want to transition from academia to a managerial position in bio-tech, do you think CBS program would be a good fit for me? also, I am 32 years old, do you take age into considerations when evaluating applications? is there an age limit?

Thanks for joining @Guy Adiry . Most students live off-campus in the New York City area. However, admitted students may apply for on-campus graduate student housing but the availability is limited so CBS gives priority to new, incoming students coming from the furthest distances first.

However, we look positively on joint applications because it shows a strong interest in CBS and provides us with a sense of who will support you throughout your program. 2. We have a wide variety of supports for students both academically, in student life and in career programming. 4. All August MBA applicants are automatically considered for merit fellowships. We also have a need-based scholarship application that is made available during the admissions process.

Hi @kirti . We require a test score and it can be the GMAT, GMAT Focus Edition, GRE, or Executive Assessment. There is no preference given between these standardized tests. English proficiency exams such as the IELTS or TOEFL are not required and cannot substitute the test score.

I would encourage you to review the following for more information: https://students.business.columbia.edu/office-of-student-affairs/cbs-partners-families In addition, NYC is a great place for partners because there is so much for them to do outside of CBS. Partners often go along on trips etc. and become close with the students in our MBA cohort.

To apply to the program, we require that applicants provide a resume, a GMAT/GMAT Focus/Executive Assessment/GRE test score, an online application, one letter of recommendation, a bachelor’s degree, unofficial transcripts from every undergraduate and graduate institution they have attended, and a $250 application fee. We also encourage applicants to have a few years of full-time work experience before applying but there is no required minimum amount.
