Emory Goizueta Business School
Emory University’s Goizueta Business School is the private business school of Emory University located in Atlanta, Georgia. The school offers numerous MBA programs, including Full Time (both one- and two-year programs), Evening, and Executive programs. All applicants must complete the GMAT, and non-native English speaking applicants must complete the TOEFL. The average accepted Full Time MBA for the class of 2012 had a GMAT of 680, a 3.4 Undergrad GPA, and roughly 5 years of work experience.

@elad Yes, there are 100% tuition scholarships which are very competitive. Successful candidates will have above average academic records and leadership experience. There is not a separate application you need to complete - all applicants are considered for merit scholarships.

I do not hold an undergraduate degree but have a strong GMAT score (690 GMAT Focus) and an excellent career record in tech and military intelligence, including management experience. Would I still be considered for the MBA program? How significant is the lack of an undergraduate degree given that I surpass all other criteria?

Hi @Michal - Thank you! Our curriculum front-loads the core into the first semester so that you can take all electives in your second semester before your internship and all of your second year. You will be able to take a variety of courses and complete more than one concentration if you choose

@inbar - The main rules are not to ask a subordinate or a family member. If you don't have a traditional supervisor, consider asking a client, supplier, peer, or board of advisors member. Does that help?

@kirti - Hello! We recommend that Full-Time MBA applicants have 2-3 years of work experience by the time they would be starting the program. We also want to know all of your work experience and you can share context and explanations in the optional essay and interview.

Hi @fadi saad, applicants who receive a test waiver are still considered for scholarships. The main question is whether you are happy with your GPA and you feel it represents you well, or if you think your GMAT score would be stronger.

Hello @Tsirison Albert! Students are able to apply for course waiver exams to replace a core course with an elective, but we usually are not able to accept transfer credits. This is because the program is already streamlined as much as possible.
