Noa
Sure, will be forwarding you my CV soon. Thanks
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
@Lotem with pleasure. We returned to Israel after 3 years in Germany. Mannheim is a very strong brand in Germany but relatively unknown in Israel. Hence, I advise to accelerate your career in Germany for a couple of years before returning. That will make the big leap.
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
@Layal just to note the cost of living is quite low compared to Israel. Also, the cost-benefit on the MBS program is unmatched.
Mannheim
@Noa yes your curent score is fine. :) send your cv to me at [email protected]
Mannheim
@noq
Noa
I have a great GPA but I am not able to cross 630 in my two attempts of GMAT, I am too tired to give another try. Should I apply with my current score?
Mannheim
@layal - no there is no full scholarship available.
Lotem
Hi, TODA for all the above and having you on this chat Yotam really helps with the Israeli angle.
Are you based in Israel? what do you about the Mannheim brand which is not very known here
Layal
Do you offer a full scholarship?
Mannheim
@Barak - Unfortunately a bachelors degree is a must. :(
Barak
Hey,
I do not hold an undergraduate degree but have a strong GMAT score (695 GMAT Focus) and an excellent career record in tech and military intelligence, including management experience. Would I still be considered for the MBA program? How significant is the lack of an undergraduate degree given that I surpass all other criteria?
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
Hey all, 10 minutes left. feel free to write us in the chat!
Mannheim
Please send me your cv and questions to [email protected]
Mannheim
@Layal - yes you would still be suitable. We can discuss more if you would like. Send me your cv to [email protected]

Amir
Thanks for the guidance.
Layal
Hey, dear, I finished English Literature and Political Sciences in my Bachelor's. I do not have any experience related to business. Would it be difficult for me to be accepted? I have three years of experience in the educational field.
Mannheim
We have a list of partner companies here. They work with us closely to find talents.

Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
@Amir Also, the career development actually begins quite early in the program. Most begin applying to jobs towards the last months of the program.
Haya Balaum
How do you recommend to prepare to the interviews for the admission?
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
@yuval Visa wise it is possible (for Israelis) but the program is quite demanding hence its not recommended.
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
@Amir From my personal experience - Yes. Most of my job interviews were driven by connections the career department has within various companies in Germany. Mannheim Bussiness School is a strong brand in Germany, and the career department really help in guiding through the local job market. Nobody will apply for you but they do offer significant assistance in my view.
yuval
Is it possible to work during the full-time program?
Mannheim
all those things important to help you find your dream job in Germany.
Mannheim
@Amir - the school does not help you look for jobs, but we offer tools like networking, cv building, cover letter writing, workshops.
Amir
Do you assist students finding jobs after their graduation?
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
Hey all, we are welcoming questions, feel free to write us in the chat!
Mannheim
Feel free to email me your cvs and questions to [email protected]

Just to note the cohort are quite small and unique, just 55-60 students a year in total. In 2020 our cohort had students from 25 nations! A very multi-cultural experience. Very enriching and empowering.
Mannheim
@Ben G - i am only aware of 2. Yotam and his colleague Yinon. Maybe you will one of those that can help to grow the network.
Mannheim
@alon i would say we look at your basic requirements, your motivation and ability to work with others.
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
@Dror Haha lightyears away...
Ben G
is there an Israeli network? how many Israelies study there each year?
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
I for example lived in Neckarau neighborhood. It's 10-15 minutes with a tram.
alon
What is the most important part of the application? What is the importance of the GMAT score in the MBA application?
Mannheim
:D
Dror
@Yotam Ziser - public transportation? Just like in Israel :)
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
Also note that public transportation is amazing so you can find accommodation throughout the city and MBS is easily accessible.
Mannheim
Mannheim itself has around 12,000 students every year. there are plenty of student and affordable accommodation available.
Mannheim
@Haya Balaum - yes. we have 30 studios for our MBAs.
Haya Balaum
Thanks! One last question does the university have its own accommodation?
Mannheim
mannheim itself is a city for many commuters and you can find alot of jobs within 30 mins to 1 hour by train.
Mannheim
The proximities from Mannheim.
30 mins to frankfurt
30 mins to stuttgart
2 hours to dusseldorf
5 hours to amsterdam
5 hours to berlin
3 hours to paris
3 hours to zurich
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
@Haya Balaum yes definitely! Actually most of my job interviews were driven by connections our career department has in Germany. Mannheim Bussiness School is a strong brand in Germany, and the career department really help in guiding through the local job market.
Mannheim
@Dror - Mannheim is location 30 mins from Frankfurt. As a foreigner's point of view, its very convenient. Mannheim has 300k people, so its mid size, has everything you need and affordable.
Mannheim
@Haya Balaum you can consider internships for 3 months after your compulsory 12 months of MBA. and you can look for internships like looking for jobs. its a great way to get insights.
Dror
can u share some more on the actual location of the university? do we do trips to the big cities in Germany to speak to potential employers?
Haya Balaum
Does Mannheim MBA program offer partnerships with companies to help students to engage and find work in the field? ;)
Mannheim
@Haya Balaum - requirements of German depends greatly on your job and industry.

Thanks
Mannheim
@ori if you pass your bachelors and have a good gmat score, we can accept this.
Mannheim
@Haya Balaum - you will need to be working 3 years full time to be eligible for the program and internships are not included.
Mannheim
Feel free to email me your cvs and questions to [email protected]
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
Hey Haya, the studies themselves are end-to-end in English in all engagements (professors, students., etc.,). Some students begin with German-speaking background. However many (myself included) had no German skills and learned before and during the studies. MBS offers one German course during the first semester.
ori
my GPA is not that high, will a high GMAT overcome that?
Haya Balaum
Hello, I’m an undergraduate student and aiming to work in these next two years, is it possible to get accepted to university with just two years experience and not three years?
Also, how important it is to learn german before starting school? Do professors speak german with students? Do students speak german? And will there be german courses that can help you join the work force in germany?
kk
Where to send CV?
kk
Thanks a lot!

I have a work-ex of 2 years in different organizations. is this accepted? what is the Minimum work years required to get into MBA program? We will need 3 years of full time work experience after your first degree.
I have work ex in Bank of America but I left it to come back to my hometown and currently working at Charted Accountant firm, while preparing for exams, Do this impact negatively? no. if you could send me your cv then i can have a better overview.
If I scored less in GMAT- Quant section. Will any other quantitative skills value in place of that? We look at your overall gmat score.
Do you have option of deferred MBA if work ex is less than what is required? you can apply when you have 3 years of work exp.
Is leadership positions at undergraduate college counts as work ex (professional experience) or not? No.
Is there any other masters degree related to finance, management, accounting or entrepreneurship Which do not require GMAT/GRE. only standardized tests TOEFL/IELTS
our full time programs at Mannheim require a gmat and toefl.
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
Hey David, as an Israeli and MBA graduate the job market is open for you. Back in 2020 you had either 12 or 18 months to search for a job. From an Administrative perspective it's not complicated to study and work in Germany as an Israeli.
Mannheim
@David yes you can download the latest one here from 2022. We are still collecting data from 2023.

@Ezra Dohan - scholarships are for everyone to apply. We have 2 standard scholarship options around 1000 to 2000 euros. Some years we have varying scholarships like this year there is an industry diversity scholarship.
David
is there an employment report I can see. what employment options do I have after my MBA as an Israeli?
Mannheim
The culture: I would say it is very diverse and international. You will be like in your bubble in the MBA! The learning culture itself is all about working together, especially in the group works for your subjects.
Ezra Dohan
What are the scholarship options for Israeli candidates?
Mannheim
Hi Adi. I am happy to answer you question.
Avi
this is great news Yotam. I thought that is a problem in the EU, but getting mixed answers today. I will check it
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
Legally of course. But just to be sure, make sure you check the latest updates in the German embassy website.
adi
Can you share about the school’s culture and how it comes to reality in the school’s programs and curriculum?
Yotam Ziser - MBS Graduate
Hey Avi, the answer is yes. This is actually the same situation I was in when i studied in Germany. I studied in MBS and my wife was working.
Avi
Hi Mannheim team
